1.) Kim Possible Theme Song
2.) D'Andre, Rachel, Ethan, Naomi

3.) Narrative:
4.) The story of the song involved the Kim Possible spoof "Kemon Possible" going on a mission to defeat the man in the robe. While this goes on, we are introduced to the characters that are friends of Kemon Possible, but we never got their names. It was a very fast paced, and humorous video.
5.) One shot that illustrated what the song is was the opening, and the closing scene where it brings out the comedy and entertainment in this video.
6.) An element that really worked well in the video was the scenes involving the split screen shot.
7.) One thing that could've made the video a tad bit better would be that the camera quality could've been slightly better, but this problem wasn't very noticeable.
8.) 7

1.) BrainPower
2.) Noah, Caleb
3.) Mood:
4.) The main feeling you get from the song is very energetic, and exciting.
5.) Some elements that prove that is was energetic is the scene with the cars moving be the screen at a super fast pace. Another scene would be the part where it shows the Sarasota One building with the trees moving fast.
6.) An element that worked well in this video was the part where the dog came running out of the house.
7.) One thing that could've been done differently is the scene with the dashboard cam on the car should've been a lot shorter. That scene took up about 50% of the video.
8.) 6

1.) Show me love
2.) Nick, Nick, Ryan, Noah
3.) Mood:
4.) The general feeling I got from watching this video was very soothing, and calming, and very positive and it shows friendship
5.) Elements that reflect this mood would be when it shows the two main people (the two nicks) being together and showing a good friendship, and it matched the song pretty well.
6.) I feel like the skateboard scene worked well in the video
7.) I think some of the acting could've been done better
8.) 7

1.) Happy
2.) Ryan, Dustin, Hannah
3.) Narrative:
4.) The story of the song was that there was a young boy who was sad about his baseball mitt, and then he got a new one and was happy
5.) When he stares at the glove on the table while eating, and when he throws his old glove back behind him when he got his new mitt
6.) The dog
7.) Show how the mitt was actually bad rather than just him not liking it
8.) 6

1.) Push it to the limit
2.) Elijah, Kelly, Dave, Christian
3.) Narrative
4.) The story of this video was that there was a big fight, and the two contestants that were in it were training throughout the video preparing for the final fight
5.) The opening shot where the two would look at each other with the poster in the middle, and the split shot scenes were interesting as well
6.) I liked the song, and i think it worked well throughout the video
7.) The punches should've been more legit
8.) 9

The short film "Uncanny Valley" is pretty much about people who are socially deprived and only want to be in the world of virtual reality, but there is a twist to the virtual reality... what they are really doing is controlling robots and what they are doing is killing innocent people. But to them they're killing aliens, and one of the socially deprived men came to realize this once something on the robot he was controlling broke. This story also shows how VR can ruin us all and deprive us not only socially, but mentally, and physically.

Video Progress Report

So far in my video assignment I haven't had much progress, except for a concept of an idea. What I thought about doing was a parody of a song, but the song is undetermined. I may end up having another idea that would end up better for me, but that is also undecided. So in conclusion, all I have about the video is a planning sheet with an idea that is still unprecedented to me. But in the near future I will have an idea, and hopefully make a nice project off of it. An idea that I did have which is SUPER original...(not really)... is a parody of the the Kesha song, but I don't think i will be rolling with that idea at all mainly because it doesn't interest me that much, and it was just the only thing i could think about since the song was stuck in my head non stop for some unholy reason, and every time I looked at the story board paper I thought about that song. It's a vicious cycle that I'd prefer to not happen. But my video will include music, that is also undecided since I don't have an actual video made, let alone an idea... But I hope that in the end I do complete this assignment.

Alternate Ending

The movie I am reviewing is Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Now the ending to this movie leaves off with Captain America and The Black Widow seeing the new Avengers, and Captain America gets abruptly cut off while saying "Avengers Assemble" by the ending credits. This would be an explicit ending since the conflict is resolved and Ultron is gone forever. BUT... In the after credit scene it shows Thanos who is one of the strongest beings in the universe grabbing the Infinity Gauntlet and saying "Fine, I'll do it myself" implying that he will get all of the Infinity Stones on his own. This would end up being a twist ending.

An alternate ending to the normal ending (not including the after credit scene) I would show Ultron being in a body that the Avengers left behind whilst fighting him awaken and begin to rebuild more bodies so his rebellion may rise once again. This would end up being a twist ending, and would change everyone in the film since Ultron so heavily impacted the entire world by almost destroying everything and causing global extinction.

Political Correctness

Is there a place for political correctness in contemporary filmmaking?

I do think that there is a place for political correctness in fimmakingm, but under some circumstances. Some of it is good for comedic reasons, take the Princess' Bride for example, Andre the Giant was abnormally large and they used that for his character in the movie. Also the man with the speech impediment was used for a comedic reason.

Princess' Bride Q&A

What surprised you most about the end of the movie?
What surprised me most about this was how "The Machine" basically sucked the life out of somebody, and my jaw dropped once the prince turned "The Machine" to level 50.

What were the parts of The Princess Bride you found suspenseful? Realistic? Humorous? Romantic?
One scene that i found suspenseful in this movie was when Inigo was fighting the 6-fingered man wounded, I already kind of figured who would win the fight but it was still a suspenseful scene to me. A realistic scene in this movie was one of the arguments that the princess and prince had, she knew that Wesley would find her out of true love. A humorous scene would be when Wesley is having the battle of wits, and ends up killing the kidnapper. A romantic scene would be when Wesley is laying in the bed unable to move and the princess finds him.

Do you have any memories of your parents reading to you when you were young? What types of books did you enjoy most? Have you revisited any of your childhood favorites in recent years?
Every Christmas my parents would always read "The Night Before Christmas" to me. The types of books i enjoyed most were informational books, and nonfiction. Over the past recent years i have not read any of my books.

Who in the movie did you most identify with and why?
I most identified as a Inigo since I would not give up until i find my fathers killer, if he were to be murdered in real life.

Is the portrayal of Buttercup misogynistic? Is there a pattern in the way that women are portrayed in The Princess Bride? What are stereotypes about masculinity in The Princess Bride? What are the qualities of good men?
The qualities of good men include being polite, and caring for a girl and staying faithful to her no matter what, and through the thick and thin. Also what i noticed with Buttercup how she also stayed in true love with our main character.

Think about the role of Fezzik in the movie. Andre the Giant played Fezzik. Andre had a syndrome called acromegaly, This condition is a result of excess growth hormone produced by the anterior pituitary gland, and it can result in disfigurement, giganticism, and premature death. Do you think it’s acceptable to use characters such as giants and dwarves in movies and television shows? Should they be defined by their physical appearance onscreen?
I think that using people such as Andre the Giant who had the syndrome named acromegaly is ok for some movies that they would fit in with. But with this movie the characters in the film exploited Fezzik for his size and strength, and they took advantage with it. I think that this isn't really the best idea seeing how this is a syndrome that has premature death involved with it.

What do the characters’ actions say about perseverance? What motivates them? Do you think internal or external motivation is more important in accomplishing goals?
What motivates some of the characters in this film is true love, Buttercup and the main character will not give up on each other due to their true love. Also Inigo has revenge of his motivation to kill the 6 fingered man.

During the marriage scene, the priest has a speech impediment. Did you find this scene humorous? If so, were you comfortable laughing?
For the marriage scene, I did find this scene a bit humorous and i think that was the purpose of having this actor was to have a little comedy in this scene.

Many characters in the movie are the best in the world at something. What is Westley the best at?
Westley is the best at many things, strength, swordsmanship, and much much more.

When we first meet Inigo and Fezzik, they are working with Vizzini to kidnap Buttercup. Later, they become allies of Westley in his efforts to rescue her. What causes Inigo and Fezzik to change . . . or do they really change at all over the course of the novel?
What caused Inigo and Fezzik to change was that they knew what they were doing was wrong, and then they become fond of Westly after getting to know him towards the end of the movie. But in the end of the movie/novel, they don't really change.

When Westley confronts Humperdink, he says that he won’t fight to the death but to the pain. Is it crueler to kill someone or leave them alive in their pain?
I think it is crueler to leave someone close to death and in serious pain, rather than to kill someone.

Discuss the story Westley tells about the Dread Pirate Roberts. How does this tale within the tale influence your interest in Westley? Is he still the same farm boy from the beginning of the book?
I don't think he is still the same farm boy from the beginning of the movie, since he ended up becoming the Dread Pirate Roberts, and he also talks a lot more than what he did while he was a farm boy.

How should The Princess Bride ultimately be categorized: Satire? Adventure? Romance? Fantasy? Is the title ironic? Does it imply a tame love story or a traditional piece of children’s literature?
I think this movie would be a mixture of Romance, Adventure, Comedy, and a hint of fantasy but without all of the dragons and what not. I think this story provides a tame love story rather than a child's book.

"My Dad's New Web Site"

"My Dad's New Web Site" Emotion Review

In this video some of the emotions I felt confused, mainly because I had no idea what the intentions of this video was, and I didn't know what was going on.
Another emotion I felt was startled in a way, mainly because a kid running up to a camera and whispering something made me feel a little unsettled.
My 3rd emotion I felt whilst watching this video was relaxed, because the area the kid was running about in looked a little soothing and the sound of seagulls made me feel relaxed.

Narrative Arc on own video

The Narrative Arc

The Narrative Arc I will be doing is on a popular web series called Red vs. Blue.

EXPOSITION-

The main character's in this series of this specific season is Tucker, Washington, Carolina, and the rest of the Reds and Blues. The main antagonist of this season is the two mercenaries named Locus, and Felix. They're plan is to blow up the entire the planet they are on named Corus.
The setting of this season is on Corus, the planet that the Reds and Blues crash landed on.
The mood is often very humorous, and sometimes dark and gritty, and mostly uplifting.

RISING ACTION-

The rising action of this season is when Felix finds out from the Sanghelli AI that there is a certain tower named the purge that can end all life on Corus, and the only way to trigger the tower is by activating it with a key (that is also a sword). This is also Felix's mission to get a huge pay, so of course he is all ears for that.

RESOLUTION-

The resolution to this seasons recent episode was a mixup of both Tragic, and Comic. Because Church(who is now Tuckers AI after being Agent Carolina's) sent out a message across every device in the universe telling how they were trapped on a planet named Corus and were in need of assistance, he also said that the man who gave Felix the mission was to be arrested and should never see the light of day. After doing so the man who gave Felix the mission came into the Communications Tower where the Reds and Blues were, and he said "you have made a terrible mistake", and the episode ended. Well.... i guess we will have to wait till next Monday to see what happens :)

Narrative Arc

Narrative Art
EXPOSITION-

Characters: the characters in this film were Wallace, Grommit, and the machine on the moon. The machine on the moon was the antagonist in this film because he almost punished Wallace for eating the cheese on the moon, while the main protagonists were Wallace, and Grommit.

Setting: The settings of this film were at Wallace and Grommit's house, and then they traveled to the moon made of cheese.

Mood: The mood of this film was humorous, and there wasn't anything serious or sad going on.

RISING ACTION-

The rising action of this film was Wallace putting the coin in the machine on the moon. Upon doing that it activated the machine, and the machine spent it's entire time activated trying to track down Wallace, and Grommit. Even though he didn't really have evil intentions.

RESOLUTION-

The resolution of this film was a comic resolution, because the moon machine finally got what he was dreaming for, and that was to go skiing in the snowy mountains... except this time it was on the moon, mad of cheese.
